“Automechanika Middle East” is the leading event for the rapidly developing automotive aftermarket in the wider Middle East and Africa region.
LUMAG enterprise will show its offer of brake linings and pads during this essential exhibition for the ninth time.
We invite all the customers to visit our stand no H3-G32 during Automechanika Dubai 10th – 12th
The international “EuroBrake” conference is the largest European event dedicated to braking technologies and friction materials. This year’s edition will take place in Dresden and attract over a thousand of best experts in the field. The “EuroBrake” congress is a forum, where companies, engineers, academics and scientists exchange and share ideas and technical novelties from the braking sector.
This year, on 21-23 of May, the most important manufacturers from the industry will deliver over 120 presentations. Lumag will also address the audience as one of the sponsors of the event.
– We are taking part in the “EuroBrake 2019” congress, because we have been actively involved in the development of the friction industry. We want to present our company as a supplier of metal components: back plates, shims and installation accessories for brake pads – says Łukasz Żak, Lumag’s head of marketing. – We are focusing on our in-house research and development. In this context, “EuroBrake” is an excellent platform for exchanging experience among manufacturers from the whole world. We want to stay up-to-date and set the tone in the Polish brake industry. At the Dresden conference we will deliver our scientific presentation and have our own stand – no. 35 – and will be happy to see you there.
Maciej Młodzikowski from the Research and Development Department headed by engineer Tomasz Orłowski will present results of research performed by Lumag in the International Congress Centre in Dresden.
– Customers have very high expectations regarding quiet operation of brakes, good feeling of the brake pedal, environmental protection and fuel economy – Tomasz Orłowski explains. – A brake pad is composed of a number of components, but one of the most important parts is its back plate. The plate can be made of various types of steel and can be cut in various ways. We wanted to see the impact of this component on various parameters related to braking. It turned out that even the very method used to cut the steel sheet, among other factors, can influence negative vibration and acoustic phenomena and the so-called residual brake torque. The detailed findings of our research, however, will be presented at the conference – Tomasz Orłowski concludes.
