Right before the Automechanika trade fair in Frankfurt Lumag launched its web catalogue based on TecDoc data. The catalogue includes the range of BRECK brake pads and brake discs for passenger vehicles and light commercial vehicles. It is also available on the breck.pl website and on the lumag.pl website under the /offer tab.
The catalogue is accompanied by the BRECK FINDER mobile app. The iOS version can be downloaded for free from the App Store from all European countries, while the Android version can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store.
This easy and intuitive BRECK application based on the latest catalogue data was developed by the Tecalliance.
It lets you search for brake pads and brake discs by selecting a vehicle, a BRECK article number, an original (OE) part number or a competitor number. You can also enter a VIN number to ensure proper identification of braking system components. The application contains images of BRECK brake pads with a full set of accessories and lists locations, where BRECK products are available.
You can also learn more about the BRECK brand.
The app is a perfect tool supporting work in a workshop or store and is also useful for individual users looking for brake pads and brake discs for their cars.
In mid-September Lumag decided to extend the range of tasks of its in-house research and development department. As a result of the implemented changes, the department was divided into two independent sections developing new technologies: one section is focusing on commercial vehicles, while the other on passenger and light commercial vehicles.
Tomasz Orłowski, the former head of the joint research and development department, will be responsible for the development of products for passenger vehicles offered by the company under its own Breck brand. The other team, headed by Marcin Darowny, will focus its efforts on friction materials designed for commercial vehicles.
The Lumag MasterClass is an exceptional project implemented in collaboration with the “Zespół Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnych im. Hipolita Cegielskiego” (Hipolit Cegielski Upper-Secondary School Complex) in Chodzież. At the beginning of September, 28 students started learning in the Lumag-supported vocational training class for future technicians and mechanics. Under the watchful eye of four of our company experts, throughout the whole four-year course of study they will be participating in a series of vocational trainings organized in the seat of Lumag and in our Research and Development Department.
On 30 August 2016, Marek Żak, President of Lumag, signed a contract to provide support for vocational training with the principal of the “Zespół Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnych im. Hipolita Cegielskiego” (Hipolit Cegielski Upper-Secondary School Complex) -Mrs Lucyna Sworowska – in the company of the Head of the Chodzież County – Mr Julian Hermaszczuk.
Students from the supported vocational training class and their parents took part in the official opening of the project. The parents also had the unique opportunity to take a tour of the company, where their children will have vocational training classes.
